Arun Vijay Film Career
Arun Vijay’s debut movie was Murai Mappillai directed by Sundar C in 1995. It was released under the banner of Anbalaya Films. Arun was only 18 years when he signed this film. Newcomer Kirthika cast opposite to Arun in this movie.
- Arun worked in many successful films after his debut. But he had a bad phase between 2002 to 2008. He did 5 films in this period but none made it to a success in the Box office.
- In 2006, Arun Kumar changed his name to Arun Vijay, hoping that a new name would bring better luck for him. He then started working with his father-In-Law’s production house. He gave 3 back to back hit movies Malai Malai, Manjaa Velu, Thadaiyara Thaakka in 2009, 2010 and 2012 respectively.
- Arun Vijay debuted in Telugu through the film Bruce Lee – The Fighter in the year 2015. It was directed by Sreenu Vaitala under the banner of DVV Entertainments.
- Arun made his Kannada debut as the lead actor through the movie Chakravyuha in 2016. Directed by M Saravanan with Sunshine Creations banner.
- Arun also worked in Hindi Movie SAAHO in 2019 with Superstar Prabhas as a lead actor.
Arun Vijay Production Studio
