Sonal Sehgal Career
In the beginning, Sonal Sehgal assisted ad filmmaker and director Pradeep Sarkar. Later she worked as an ad script writer for different advertising agencies in New Delhi.
Her acting career began in Theatres and Television serials. She did a cameo in writer and director Mahesh Dattani’s English play Mad About Money.

Her debut Television Serial was Saara Akaash on Star Plus directed by Gurudev Bhalla in 2003. Saara Akaash was about the personal and professional lives of Indian Air Force officers. It starred Sai Deodhar, Shakti Anand, Sonal Sehgal & Kiran Kumar in the lead role. Sonal played multiple characters like Naaz, Sanjana Lallik & others.
Sonal’s second Television appearance came in serial Hotel Kingston on Star One in 2005. She played the lead role Shelly Sahai who is an NRI. Sonal Sehgal made her Bollywood debut with Hindi Film U, Bomsi & Me in 2005. She played as Monica and was cast opposite to Goutam Rode who played Sam Mac Patel. This film was about three married men and how they face their problems. This film was directed by Jairaj Padmanabhan.
Sonal did a cameo appearance as model in Amir Khan starrer blockbuster movie Ghajini in 2008.
In 2009, Sonal Sehgal worked as the lead role in movie Radio starring Himesh Reshammiya. She played as Pooja, wife of a successful RJ Vivan played by Himesh Reshammiya. The film was directed by Isshaan Trivedi.
